The 2nd Armored Division Challenge Coin offered is an official product licensed by the United States Army,part of the Patriotic Collector's Series. The license is certified by a U.S. Army hologram sticker on the packaging.

The 2nd Armored Division "Hell on Wheels" was organized as a "heavy" armored division of the United States Army. She played an important role during World War II in the invasion of North Africa and Sicily and in the liberation of France, Belgium and the Netherlands. She also participated in the invasion of Germany. During the Cold War, the division was stationed in West Germany. After participating in the Gulf War, the 2nd Armored Division was deactivated in 1995. Her units were later transferred to 4. Infantry Division.
