Air Force Air Battle Manager insignia is an original badge manufactured in the U.S.A. in accordance with applicable U.S. Government specifications.

During lightning-fast air combat, every decision makes an impact. The officers making all of those decisions are the Air Battle Managers (ABM). They use strategy, experience and an intimate knowledge of all aircraft, weapons and surveillance to ensure success. By controlling the battle space and establishing "big picture" situational awareness, ABMs plan and execute the entire theater air operation. Their expertise is also often called upon in an advisory role by other allied military forces.

The Air Battle Manager Badge is a military badge of the United States Air Force which is issued to officers who have been trained and qualified for airborne command and control, air surveillance, electronic warfare, and airborne weapons capabilities.

U.S. Air Force badges are uniform items approved by the U.S. Air Force that signify aviation ratings, special skills, professional qualifications, and serve as identifiers for personnel performing specific tasks.
