United States Army and Air Force Space Badge is an original badge manufactured in the U.S.A. in accordance with applicable U.S. Government specifications.

The Space Operations Badge is an occupational badge for guardians of the United States Space Force (USSF) and United States Air Force (USAF) space airmen. For airman to earn the Space Operations Badge, members must have completed three years of operations-focused duties and receive Air Force Space Command vice commander approval

The United States Army version of the badge, known as the Space Badge, is a special skills badge for soldiers after completing Air Force or Army courses in space or satellite systems and 12 or 24 months of space service experience. The badge is also awarded to graduates of the U.S. Army Space Operations Officer course.

Space Operations Badge Symbolism: The central globe represents the Earth as seen from space. The strings and vectors behind the globe represent the dynamic and infinite environment of space. The deltoid symbolizes the Air Force's path upward into space. The ellipses represent the orbital paths traced by satellites in Earth orbit; the satellites are symbolically represented as four-pointed stars.

The Space Operations Badge is informally referred to as "space wings" because of its similarity to other aeronautical badges or "wings".
